Organization of Eurographics 2014

Eurographics is the major Computer Graphics conference in Europe and one of the three most important ones worldwide. It is an essential yearly meeting where both academics and representatives of major industrial research divisions present their latest models, technologies and educational work, and explore new trends and ideas.

Eurographics attracts participants from all around the world. Participants and invited speakers typically work on the latest developments in all aspects of computer graphics. At EG2014 we expect approximately 400 to 500 registered participants. This concentration of delegates will provide a unique opportunity to reach a discerning audience of academic and industrial experts.

The conference will be organized by the Computer Graphics and Geometry Group of ICube Laboratory (CNRS / Université de Strasbourg).

Among all usual Computer Graphics related topics, including geometric modeling, digital geometry processing, animation, visualization, etc., this edition of the conference further intends to put an additional focus on applications related to virtual surgery and medicine as well as 3D digitization for cultural heritage, both of which will benefit from the presence of academic and industrial actors in these fields.
